At Wombat Hollow Farm, our motto is
‘Fun First’!
Following your child’s interests and excitement .
Providing a joyful experience, encouraging independent and self-motivated learning.
We know that every child expresses their needs in different ways.
That every child needs to be nurtured and given time to explore, create and thrive with a gentle, loving, patient heart in a stress free and happy environment.
That’s why we keep our classes small, at a six to one ratio, allowing us to give your child the time and attention they need.
Our classes have a maximum of 9 children
per program.
At Wombat Hollow, we love to start the day with Yoga and music. We touch base on the month’s celebrations and special events, then get ready to play outside!
Throughout the day, we listen to stories from around the world and incorporate STEM into as much of our curriculum as we can.
Our programs are child-led and follow your child’s excitement and passions.
We have guests regularly visit to share their passions to offer our friends new opportunities to be inspired. From marine biology and paleontology to musicians, artists and dancers.
Our Pre-K programs are nature-based, meaning we spend time in and with nature to create opportunities for learning.
We enjoy access to 5 acres of property that includes little wetlands, pastures, forests, gardens and play areas.
We enjoy lots of time with animals and take time to explore as well as learn about farming. We love to make homemade snacks together from the produce the farm grows.
Children’s gardens surround the play areas and allow hands-on experience growing wildflowers and plants for butterflies, hummingbirds and bees!
We strongly believe in caring for our planet; we use recycled materials and strive to lower our carbon footprint. We learn to care for our world around us in everyday practice.
In the inspiration of Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf, we believe in flexible education to encourage a joy of learning.
Please feel free to email us anytime with any questions you may have.
