Roos Crew

Learn more about our Roos Crew program.

We offer a social club-style program for children from 4-9 in a relaxed, nature-based setting.

We offer a different theme and activity with specialized guests every month to inspire your child and awaken their passions! Fostering your child’s individuality with gentle guidance and positive, kind encouragement.

Our guests include marine biologists, musicians, stuntmen, bee keepers, gardeners, artists, wildlife rescuers, dancers, indigenous leaders, and photographers… just to name a few!

Participation is there to help cross those tricky social boundaries, so we understand if your child is excited to follow their own adventures. We will be flexible and as a child-led program, we support autonomous learning and encourage imagination.

One month may be fine arts or recording their own music, dungeons and dragons and board games, or 3D designing and printing, pottery or cooking, fossils and rock hunting. We enjoy hunting for mushrooms, catching tadpoles, using vintage cameras, practicing archery and even designing and building our own playhouses. We are so lucky to enjoy many creative platforms and can’t wait to share new opportunities with our friends.

Wombat Hollow is surrounded by childrens’ gardens to tend, as well as wetlands to explore, farm animals to care for, and fully-fenced forest areas.

We follow the seasons for activities so we can be flexible and comfortable, and so our friends can socialize and explore in a safe and caring environment, no matter the weather.

Our

unique learning environment

encourages children to be curious about the world around them.

Being inspired by child-led and holistic education, we really listen to your child’s needs and give them the gentle guidance to explore their interests within the safety of a hobby farm experience.
