Our Inspiration
The Wombat is an incredibly adaptive marsupial who with their soft brown fur almost magically glow under UV light. So too, a child offered a guiding light can glow. At Wombat Hollow we believe those who guide and care for children need to be adaptive, open-hearted and patient. We celebrate the unique and support with kindness.
We recognize how important balance and diversity is in nature as it is in our children. Our teachers are guides and are endlessly inspired by many educational methods like Montessori, Reggio, Yoga and Waldorf, to offer your child flexible and nurturing educational enrichment.
Our Farm
Our families come from nearby neighborhoods, and Wombat Hollow Farm is home to many animals, insects and gardens to explore and learn with.
On fully fenced acreage nestled between fascinating wetlands, wildlife reserves and animal pastures, there are endless adventures to be had. From snuggly goats to squiggly worms, tickly pigs to friendly squirrels, there are opportunities to play and care for animals every day. We also grow and tend to a variety of butterfly, bee, prehistoric and edible gardens.

Our Philosophy
It is our strong belief that nature play encourages balance. How important outdoor exploration is for cultivating confidence for building friendships and offers opportunities for risk taking, problem solving and autonomy. Like the wombat we believe in silliness. With small ratios and lots of giggles, we support your child’s curiosity, offering endless creative and educational opportunities.
A group of Wombats is called a Wisdom! And well, we think that makes perfect sense.
